Keep on trying, sister, because if I can do it anyone can. Full disclosure, this was not my first try. This was my first time doing them alone (no other veggies) and using garbanzos that I made in my slow cooker. I’m superstitious, so that’s probably how I’ll do them again.
I have four words for you: roasted. garbanzos. game. changer.
a little olive oil, celery salt, onion powder (or any spice/salt you like), roast until charred (350, 30-40 min) and it’s the perfect snack or addition to lunch.
PS you’re welcome.
I just totally went on a Tumblr liking binge, and now I wish there was an undo button because I’m a little embarrassed to be stalking strangers and pressing like as though I’m a rat in that experiment that I read about that one time on the internet.
Next to the like button, there should be a “Don’t tase me, bro, I just think your kids are cute/you are funny/I wish we knew each other in real life” button.
This is so awesome.
Don’t mind me, I’ll be in my office, weeping and listening to One Direction while pumping.
I’m on day six of a nasty stomach bug, and I’m at that point in an illness in which I’m starting to see Jesus in my toast, so to speak. For example, there’s a certain symmetry to the fact that I’m finishing my maternity leave the way I started Dylan’s life: in bed on a diet of clear liquids.
Don’t cry for me Argentina, because I’m nearly almost practically certain this is the last day of this nonsense. The Jesus in my toast told me so.
